We are looking for Category-I Graduate Apprentices specializing in Engineering and Technology, particularly within the realms of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 positions open for these apprenticeships. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, which will help cover their expenses during the training. This training lasts for one year, offering invaluable practical experience in their respective industries.

Additionally, Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, with a focus on Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, can also seize this opportunity to train in their specialized area. There are 61 spots available for eager apprentices. Throughout their training, each participant will earn a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to aid in their educational journey. The training program is designed to last one year, allowing apprentices the necessary time to acquire hands-on skills and knowledge in their chosen discipline.

For Category I Graduate Apprentices, it is essential to have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized statutory university in the relevant field. Alternatively, candidates may also qualify if they possess a full-time degree from an institution authorized by parliamentary legislation in the corresponding discipline, or if they have successfully completed a graduate examination from professional bodies acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to these qualifications.

Conversely, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices are required to have a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by the State Government in the appropriate field. They may also qualify with a full-time diploma awarded by a university in the relevant discipline, or a diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution recognized by either the State or Central Government as being equivalent to the previously mentioned qualifications.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist from the details submitted in online applications. Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications for each discipline. Individuals who make it to the shortlist will be informed via their registered email. Those selected are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

If you’re a student who previously registered on the old National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please type “A.”

Step 1:
a. Visit the link: https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the “Students” option
c. Click on “Student login”
d. Hit “Forgot Password”
e. Enter your registered email to get an activation link and reset your password.

Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Provide your registered email and set a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. You will receive a unique 12-digit Enrollment number assigned to you.

After you finish enrolling on the new portal:
To apply:
a. Sign in with your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies”
