West Bengal RTE School Admission 2025-26: Required Documents
For the WB RTE Admission for the academic year 2025-26, applicants must adhere to specific document submission requirements. A self-attested copy of the candidate’s birth certificate, provided by either the applicant or their guardian, is required to accompany the application form. In cases where the birth certificate is unavailable at the time of admission, a declaration from the guardian regarding the child’s age will be accepted; however, the birth certificate must be submitted within six months in accordance with RTE Rule, 2012.
Furthermore, a self-attested copy of the caste certificate, issued by the relevant authority and provided by the applicant or their guardian, must also be included to qualify for any reservation benefits. It is crucial that all sections of the application form are filled out accurately. - b) For Class II, students should be at least 7 years old but younger than 8 years old.

- d) For Class IV, students should be at least 9 years old but younger than 10 years old.
