Market Timings of NSE Holidays 2024

Equity trading takes place on a daily basis throughout the week, with the exception of weekends and specific holidays that have been officially declared. The trading timetable is outlined below:

A) Pre-open session

  • Order entry and modification commence at 9:00 in the morning and conclude at 9:08 sharp, followed by a one-minute unpredictable closure preceding the commencement of pre-open order matching.

B) Regular trading session

  • Regular physical trading commences at 09:15 hours and concludes at 15:30 hours when the market opens and closes, respectively.

C) Closing Session

  • The final session will be held from 3:40 pm to 4:00 pm.

D) Block Deal Session Timings

  • Morning Window: Functioning between the hours of 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM.
  • Afternoon Window: Active from 2:05 PM to 2:20 PM.
